Blocparty Superfinale 2024: Denmark's biggest bouldering competition is over!

Blocparty 2024 is wrapped up and what a competition season it has been! Denmark's entire bouldering community has been showing off their best climbing tricks and giving it their all in this epic competition series. From qualifiers in Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen to an intense super final, Blocparty 2024 has set new standards for what bouldering competitions can be in Denmark.

Format of the competition

Blocparty 2024 kicked off with three qualifying rounds that filled gyms to capacity with over 350 participants. Participants had the day to battle their way through 25 different problems in the Totalboulder format, with difficulty levels ranging from blue (5a) to pink (7c), with the best of the best advancing to the finals. In the finals, a new level of excitement awaited: competitors were challenged with unfamiliar problems in the intense onsight format, where the ability to adapt quickly was paramount.

Superfinal - The strongest are left standing

Finally, it all culminated in a spectacular super final where the best climbers, selected from the entire competition, went up against each other and showed why they belong at the top of Danish bouldering. The atmosphere was at boiling point and everyone - participants, audience and crew - gave it their all.
