Your First visit in Boulders

👋 Hey first timer!

At Boulders it's really easy to get started bouldering - just show up at the nearest gym and bring your sportswear.

The grading system is designed with you, the newcomer, in mind. Bouldering can reach a really high and advanced level, but it's especially fun in the beginner grades.

The problems in Boulders are colored, with green being the easiest that anyone can do, yellow being a bit harder, orange requiring a bit of technique, and so on - see the grading system here.

Good to know

  • No need to book an appointment (only groups over 10 need to book in advance). Book by filling out the form.

  • You may only climb in climbing shoes. You can use your own or rent a pair at the bar.

  • For Entrance you can choose between membership, punch card or admission ticket.

  • You can come alone or with others - either way, we'll help you get started.

  • Drink a cup of coffee before you start.

  • Warm up for a minimum of 10 minutes.

  • Start with the easiest routes and slowly work your way up.

  • Take your time and remember to use your whole body to climb and not just your arms.

  • Ask other climbers or a staff member for advice or help in solving a problem.
