Boulders Code of Conduct

To ensure a great experience for everyone, we have some simple guidelines that we ask all climbers and visitors to follow. Our Code of Conduct helps us create a safe, cozy and respectful environment where everyone can have fun and challenge themselves. Please read through the rules and help us maintain the great climbing atmosphere at Boulders!

  • Listen to staff instructions.

  • Watch out for others on the walls. class distance and be aware.

  • Be patient and respectful while waiting for your turn.

  • Brush off the grips every day, no matter how tough the route.

  • Use chalk, but class again. Avoid clapping your hands or throwing chalk around.

  • Only climbing shoes are allowed on the walls.

  • Enjoy food and drinks in the designated areas - away from the climbing mattresses.

  • class Keep it tidy and clean up after yourself. Don't leave your stuff or trash lying around.

  • Share tips if someone asks, but avoid giving advice if it's not wanted.

  • If you are new or unsure, ask the staff for help. We recommend all beginners to start with an intro session.

  • Children must be supervised by an adult. (And check out our Codex for Kids below!)

  • And most importantly - have fun!

Boulders Codex for Kids

Children are welcome at Boulders and can climb for free up to the age of 4, accompanied by a paying adult. Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children follow the rules so that everyone's safety is top notch:

  • Running is not allowed in the hall, neither on nor off the mattresses.

  • Children should not play or stay on the mattresses, as the mattresses are designed for falls.

  • The training area is not for play - children are not allowed here.

  • Parents should help children be aware of other climbers and keep a safe distance from the wall when walking across the mattresses.

  • class noise level low for a pleasant experience for everyone.

  • Young children should use the children's walls as much as possible, but are welcome to climb in the rest of the hall under extra supervision.

  • Proper climbing etiquette, such as adhering to cue culture, must be followed.

  • Wash hands after meals before climbing!

  • Proper footwear, such as climbing shoes or socks, must be worn. No outdoor shoes or bare feet for hygiene reasons.
