Bouldering: Climbing without ropes and harnesses
Bouldering is a form of climbing that has become increasingly popular across the globe in recent years. Bouldering is a great alternative to fitness and crossfit.
What is bouldering?
Bouldering is a form of climbing on low climbing walls. The word Bouldering comes from the English word for boulders: BOULDERS. The climbing walls are up to 4.5m high and have mattresses underneath. Therefore, they do not require the use of advanced safety equipment such as ropes and harnesses. Bouldering is a free form of movement where you can focus on the main gymnastics of climbing the routes.
Bouldering is both fun and challenging at the same time. We solve different bouldering problems (routes) that require strength, agility and good technique. Each route is like a puzzle to solve, and it's a great feeling when you finally find the right solution. Bouldering is for everyone - children and adults, beginners and experienced climbers. There are always new routes in Boulders of all difficulty levels to challenge yourself and get better at.
Training and exercise:
Bouldering is also a great form of training and exercise. When you climb, you use almost all your muscles and get your heart rate up. Bouldering trains the whole body and challenges your agility, technique and power. Many people opt out of fitness and crossfit in favor of climbing.
One of the best things about bouldering is the amazing community and unity that exists among climbers. We're always cheering each other on and helping each other. It's a really fun and inclusive sport where we all support each other.
