CLIMBATHON IS A FREE FOR ALL BOULDERING COMPETITION.
become CHALLENGED ON THE WALL, GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE, FIND YOUR LOCAL RANKING AND CHALLENGE YOUR FRIENDS π¦Ύ
The competition runs from Monday through Sunday of the week in question.
Route builders build 1 set per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. As soon as they finish a set, you can start climbing it.
There is Boulders climbing gear and merch for the top 3 in each category and via raffle.
You are responsible for counting and noting peaks and zones.
We hang up a large common scorecard, which is taken down and counted on Sunday after closing.
Each problem has a zone and a peak. Write a line for each zone and peak.
Zone = must be used actively, just touching is not enough.
Top = hold the end grip with full control or for a minimum of 3 seconds.
There are around 25 problems in total, in all difficulty levels from green to black, divided into 2 categories (easy and hard).
If you pass one or more problems in the hard group, you belong to it. Everyone else belongs to the easy group. We encourage you to try your hand at all the problems! Don't be put off by the hard group and don't downgrade yourself!
Nope, you just show up and get started whenever you want. There's no commitment and it's free. Anyone can join, you just need access (membership, punch card, day ticket or other access pass).
Bring your climbing friends and come to Boulders Climbathon!
The problems will linger a bit after the week is over so you have time to finish your projects.
π The competition lasts one week (Monday to Sunday)
π Route builders build Monday to Wednesday. As soon as they finish a set, you can start climbing on it.
π There will be 20-25 problems in total for all levels.
π It's of course free for members.
π It's free to join after purchasing admission.
π No registration, just swing by when you're ready!
π A large scorecard will be hung up in the hall. Participants register peaks and zones, NOT attempts.
π The problems will be divided into two classes marked with two different colors. We do this to be able to have podium places for both an easy and a difficult group. If you have done one or more problems from the hard group, you belong to it. Everyone else belongs to the easy group.
π The competition will be held online in our forum, where we will continuously post results and you can share beta etc.
π There are prizes for the podium places in both classes.
Have fun!
