Ready for a full week of competitive climbing, sweat and wild vibes on the walls?

Climbathon is back - and it's for everyone. Whether you climb green or black, you can join in. Scroll to the bottom for a guide on how to get the most out of the week.

How it works

We're opening the doors to an open-for-all competition that runs all week. New problems are set on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - and you can get started as soon as they are ready (around 17:00).

You collect tops and zones, keep track of your score and battle against yourself (or your friends).

No need to sign up, just write your name on the scorecard - and start climbing.

Two categories:

1 / Easy (du klatrer kun Easy problemer)

2 / Hard (klarer du et Hard problem, er du med i dén kategori)

Prizes

Vi trækker vi lod blandt alle deltagere og finder 4 vindere i hver hal.

Vinderne får fede præmier fra BOULDERS.

Rules

- You register top and zones on the scorecard yourself

- If you complete one or more problems in the difficult group, you belong to that group

- A zone only counts if you are actively using it

- The competition ends at 22:00 on Sunday.

- Results published online and in the gym

The scorecard

You count and record your tops and zones on the scorecard yourself!

The scorecard hangs in the gym from Monday and is taken down on Sunday evening.

Here's how you do it:

1. Wrte your name

2. Count peaks and zones with lines in the 4 columns

Zone = You need to actively use the zone - just touching is not enough.

Top = You must hold the top grip with full control (or for 3 seconds).

Eksempel på udfyldning af fælles scorekortet. 1 streg i zone-kollonen for hver zone og 1 streg i top-kollonen for hver top. Zoner 1 og Toppe 1 er gruppe 1 / Easy. Zoner 2 og Toppe 2 er gruppe 2 / Hard. Antal forsøg tælles ikke.

How to get the most out of Climbathon week

Climbathon varer en hel uge – fra 3. til 9. november. Nye problemer sættes mandag, tirsdag og onsdag. Her er en enkel strategi til at få flest mulige toppe og zoner. Husk at problemerne bliver hængende lidt efter konkurrencen slutter, så du kan afslutte projekter.

1. Understand the format

Du skal selv tælle dine toppe og zoner og skrive dem på scorekortet. Der er to kategorier: 1 / Easy og 2 / Hard. Hvis du topper bare ét 2 / Hard-problem, er du i 2 / Hard-kategorien.

2. Divide the week

Spend the first few days trying all new problems. Make mental or physical notes of which ones you can do quickly and which ones you need to work on.

Save energy mid-week and come back with fresh arms for the weekend.

3. Plan your sessions

  • Monday-Wednesday: Try everything new

  • Thursday-Friday: Target specific tops and zones

  • Saturday-Sunday: Put in the final effort and finish projects

4. Take breaks and think long term

Don't send it all on the first day. The most important thing is to distribute your efforts so you can climb all week without getting injured or burned out.

5. Use the scorecard correctly

Skriv dit navn tydeligt. Sæt én streg for hver top og én streg for hver zone i de rigtige kolonner. Zone 1 og Toppe 1 er Easy-gruppen. Zone 2 og Toppe 2 er Hard-gruppen. Du skal ikke tælle forsøg.
